New Fall Clothes

I think it was about 2 months ago that my mom and I bought Carson's fall outfits. I wish it would just get cooler so that I could put them on him!! But, I couldn't resist to just go ahead a dress him today. Of course, we are going to the park later so I will change him. But for now he just looks so darn cute!!!! :) I got this thing in my email for BabyGap, and they are looking for kids. I just might have to send them a picture of this little stud!

Our Trip to Lexington

Well this past week Carson and I took a little road trip (3hours) to Lexington to visit my friend Tiffany and her little girl Madalyn. We only stayed a couple days, but had a great time while we were there. Madalyn is only 3 months younger than Carson, but she gave him a run for his money. If he played with her toys she would come at him and say "HEY, HEY, HEY" and Carson would start to cry. Women! :) It was fun.

Over the weekend Nick and I went to mom and dad's. Nick and my dad made the greatest bookcase for Carson's room! I will post a pic of today or tomorrow. It is just the best! I was so happy they did that for him. He will be able to use it for years to come!

I wanted everyone to know my sister, Monica is in the hospital and not feeling very well. So, if you all could pray for her recovery we would all appreciate it. Not for sure at the moment what exactly is going on or will have to be done, but I think she may have to have surgery to remove part of her colon. I will keep you posted.

Also, maybe a prayer for me as well. I have been having some severe hormone headaches lately. I'm sure they will pass, but sometimes they are hard to handle.

Update on Carson

Well....let's see. Alot has been going on with Carson since the start of September. He is enrolled in KDO (Kids Day Out) at the Methodist Church here in Newburgh. He goes every Tuesday from 845 - 1145 and will be going every other Thursday. He LOVES it! They have unstructured playtime, story time, crafts, and snacks. It is so nice there and he loves being around the other kids. He also goes to the Library every Wed for Story Time. It's great! They teach the kids lots of songs and do a few activities. Then he still goes to the Bob's gym Daycare when mommy works out. Which, to be honest hasn't been as much as it could lately. :) Oh, and I have gained 3lbs with baby #2!

Later today we have a doctor's apt for our little Monkey. He has had a runny nose and started coughing these last couple days. He doesn't sound congested, doesn't have a fever, and doesn't act like he feels bad, but I'm going to take him for a check up anyway. For those of you who didn't know, last month he had a bad case of 5th Disease. His legs will still show a rash when he gets hot.

Michael's R&R from Iraq

We all went down to my mom and dad's this weekend because my brother, Michael was home for his R&R from Iraq. It was a very nice weekend filled with REALLY good food. (Thanks again, Mom) On Sunday we went to the Elnora Antique Festival. Carson loved seeing all the tractors. When they had their parade of tractors he had to wave at each one with that huge grin of his. Of course they all waved back....how could you not? :)
We are hoping to go up and see Michael one last time next weekend up in Indy. But, if not, he will be back in November.

Two Peas in a Pod

Things are great with us. We had a nice long weekend, which we took advantage of and went up to Clinton to see my very busy best friend, Alyson. This weekend was the Little Italy Festival and Nick and I always love to go to that. Although, this year I was the DD, so not as much fun for me. :) Still we had a great time with Ben and Alyson.

Baby Conner

Carson would like to officially announce the upcoming birth of his new baby brother or sister. He/She will be due around March 17th.

Our Idaho Trip

We took a family trip this summer out to Idaho and had a great time. Carson got to take lots of rides on the 4-wheeler with his Grandma and Grandpa Conner. He LOVED it! He'd ring the bell on the porch and off they'd go time and time again. He never got sick of riding and they never got sick of him asking. :) And as you can see by the pictures, he loves Caesar. They got him so many wonderful things (thanks again David and Colleen). They even bought him a sandbox and filled it with green sand. Too Cool.

Nick had a good time seeing the horses and helping his dad build a fence in their new property across the road. I know it was hot, but he loved every minute it of it.
