Memorial Day

ALREADY USING A LAPTOP, THE BOY IS A GENIUS!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We spent the weekend at my mom and dad's. My niece and nephew were there and it was nice to get to spend some time with them. I know Brier really likes hanging out with his Uncle Nick. Nick taught him how to ride a motorcycle that he and my dad got running. Nick was so cute teaching him to ride like his dad had taught him.
The weather was nice. Not hot enough to swim, but nice. Actually, Nick went swimming. :) He got pushed in by Brier. He really wouldn't have cared, but unfortunately his cell phone got wet. So, if you guys try calling him on his cell phone he can't answer. But, he check his messages on another phone.

Well, we hope to hear from you all soon!!! Love you!

OF COURSE, FEEDING HIMSELF....SO INDEPENDENT! :)

LOOK AT THOSE TEETH!

We are finally all moved in and things are going very well. I will send everyone an email with my new home phone number. It's nice because I will have unlimited local weekends.

SUPERMAN!!!!!!!

We really like it here so far. We have already been out to dinner with a nice couple in the apartment complex. Nick also works with him. And there is TONS to do around here. It's so nice being close to everything. And the best part of all is that every night Nick comes home and gets to be with his family. :)

I love you all and when you get my email with my new number call me!!!!

Miss Abby

Monica sent me a link to Abby's pictures from JCPenney's Today and I had to put them on my page because they are TOO cute of our sweet girl. Monica was upset about her eye looking off, but I think these are wonderfu!! Really, Nin, these are great pictures and her Aunt Nin Nin and Uncle Nick are very proud of her. Even, Carsi. :)

And we will officially be moved in tomorrow morning!!! Again, I will keep you all posted.

WE ARE MOVING!

This has been a very busy last week. But, as of Monday/Tuesday we will officially be residents of Newburgh, Indiana. I am real sure that my new address will be 4333 Bell Rd Apt.#1414 Newburgh, IN 47630. I am EXTREMELY nervous about moving someplace so small, but we will get through it. It's all worth it to be together everynight. As you can see by this picture Carson has been busy helping Mama too.

The movers will be here Monday morning, and thanks to my Aunt Melanie, Carson will be with her and out of the way. You know toddlers....always wanting to be right in the middle of all the action. :)

I will keep you all posted on changes and our new number when we get it. Love you all! And Joel, if you are reading this....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Ellen with her Hawaii Chair

Okay, I am all for a great workout while doing nothing, but SERIOUSLY! This is the funniest workout item I have ever seen!

Cinco De Mayo

Happy Cinco De Mayo! I hope some of you drank a VERY large margarita for me. :)
Just an update...we still haven't moved in to our apartment yet, but probably this weekend. Which this weekend is a special one because it is my dad's b-day, Joel's b-day, My parents anniversary, Michael & Whit's anniversary, & Mother's Day. We celebrated Whit's BDay last night at my mom's house. Unfortunately there were 4 members of the family that couldn't be there. And Michael, if you are reading this...we miss you & love you very much!

Steve Southwick

I wanted everyone to remember the Southwick family in their prayers. Steve passed away 3 nights ago. I was fortunate enough to have met Steve 2 years ago in Wyoming. And although I hadn't known him for years like the rest of our family, I did consider him a friend. He will be missed by many. You can visit his blog at www.stephensouthwick.blogspot.com

Its been a busy couple of days

Sorry everyone for not posting some pictures in the last couple of days. We have been really busy trying to get ready to move to Evansville. Today we had a yard sale to get rid of some things that we don't need and don't have room for. We made almost $500! I am so pumped!

Brier and Regan have been down for the weekend. Brier loves to come over here and play the Wii and hang out. And they are both so sweet with Carson. He lights up when he sees them coming.

Carson has not been feeling well today. He is getting some new teeth and he's cranky. But, he is so good natured it really isn't all that bad. You all would have died if you could have seen him tonight...I was trying to make dinner and he wouldn't quit crying to get in his highchair because he was hungry. And then I looked up and saw that he had pushed his highchair to a chair he could stand on then climbed on the tray of the highchair and sat himself down in it. He is so smart its scary!!! But, I had to laugh. We also have posted a couple picks from tonight that we took after his bath. As you can see he has a new elephant towel....he loves to make the elephant noise. And as I'm typing he is in the living watching the Wiggles with his "friends". I just took that picture 2 minutes ago.

Well, I love you all and hope to see comments from you. Mmmwwwaaw!

17 months old!

Oh, my goodness!!! Can you believe our little man is now 17 months old??? He still is only a pound heavier than he was at 9 months (22lbs), but he is getting taller. We just look at him and laugh about how much older he looks and acts these days. He started throwing away his own diapers for me. Of course now you have to watch out for items that don't belong in the trash. :) He also can point to all main body parts and knows almost all of his animals. Today we are learning the word "Up" and "Down". He says them, just not real clear, but we are working on it.

The Zoo

Nick & I took my niece and nephew, Brier and Regan to the Indianapolis Zoo today. Everyone had a really good time! I think Carson's favorite was the petting zoo. As soon as he saw the rooster he said "Cock-a-DOO". Too sweet. The kids went on a coater ride and they got to sit in the splash section of the dolphin show. So, that I think was their highlight. Oh, and they had dip-n-dots for the first time. Crazy!!! :) It turned out to be a really special day that hope we all remember.

Casie & Grant

We visited my cousin, Casie, yesterday. She has the sweetest, and most loving baby (besides, Carson of course). As soon as you look at him he gets this huge grin on his face! You can see it in his eyes that he really loves life. He is too cute! He and Carson had fun together. We took them shopping and then gave them their bath. I don't think Grant 'loved' the idea of sharing his bath time, but he tolerated it. :) Carson is very gentle with babies younger than him. He shares toys and even kisses.

Becoming "Green"

So....I've been thinking alot about going "Green" lately. I have started my search on finding the best home cleaners for my family. I hate that everytime I clean my tub, I then have to rinse it over and over again. It still worries me, and I hate the thought of flushing all the chemicals that will eventually become our drinking water. So, if anyone knows the best product that I should be buying to help my family and the environment, please let me know.

Mmm....Ketchup!

Well...today has a been a pretty fun day. We went for a long walk with my mom this afternoon. Wow, who knew it would be 80 degrees!! But, we had fun talking and Carson loves the outdoors.
Little Mr has found a new love for ketchup. He is so independent that I can not even try to feed him anymore. He has a HUGE fit. Earlier he was mad because I put his toothpaste on his brush, not him. Geez....how old does he think he is??? :)
Other than that, nothing. :) Am I boring or what? I have been getting ready for a yard sale next weekend. Yeah!!! And I made plans today to take my niece and nephew to the zoo on Saturday. So....ta ta for now.

Circus

We took Carson to the Circus the other day. It was small, but fun. I tried to get Carson to ride the ponies, but he HATED it! So,they gave me my money back. :) He loved the elephants! I could have done without them pooping the WHOLE time! Nick even got a video of it...gross!!!! Overall, a very fun day.

Problem Posting Comments?

A couple people have emailed me and said they can't post comments. But, my mother-in-law, Colleen, did so it has to be working. Just go under a post and you will see how many comments have been posted and at what time I posted the blog. Then just click on it. It will then have a box for you to add a comment, then you have to type in the code it tells you, and if you don't have a Gmail account click on anonymous. Let me know if you all are still having problems.

This one's for you Colleen

I know this is my fourth blog of the day, but what can I say...I love this! My mother-in-law emailed me today and said this was awesome, but she wanted more pics. So, here's a few more.

As you can see Mr. Carson, LOVES the outdoors. We actually have had problems bringing him inside. He starts screaming the moment you head for the door. When he was at Alyson's house for Dominick's birthday party he loved his car so much we had to buy him one on the way home. He can't wait to jump in it when we go outside.

Nicks New Job

Nick did get a job close to home. He will be working for Mass Electric at the new Ethanol plant in Mt. Vernon (West of Evansville). It is a REALLY great job!!! It has many wonderful benefits. The ONLY downside is it it's not permanent in Evansville, but it is a permanent job. Which is great! We are currently looking for a place to live down there. Its not as easy as we had hoped, but we're looking. There is currently no place to rent for a family like us, but maybe once college is out for the summer we will find something. We are also thinking about buying, but Nicks job will only last around a year or so. So.....don't know. But, I will keep you all posted. Though, let me just say that I am so VERY happy that Nick will home with his family every night. We have missed him so much these past 16 months!! I am so grateful that our prayers have finally been answered.

Carson has been doing really well. Here he is with his new friend, "Funky Monkey". Nick & got him at Build-A-Bear while in Evansville. It was so fun to make him. We got to stuff him and fill him with love and we even put a heart in him. Okay, Nick thought it was gay, but I LOVED it! :) We also put a sound effect in his arm that sounds like a monkey. Carson has never been big on stuffed animals, but he loves Funky. He reads to him, feeds him, and takes him to bed with thim. They have become best friends.

Lets give this a shot!

Hello, everyone!! I have been noticing lately how big this blogging seems to be. And recenlty a good friend of ours, Steve, was in an awful accident and his family has kept everyone posted by blogging. And I started thinking how great it would be for me to keep in touch with everyone by doing the same. Because you all know that I am TERRIBLE at calling. I don't know why, but I HATE talking on the phone. :) So....Lets give this a shot!
